The rules we follow when we ingest a filing, attribute a donor, and decide what to publish. If a number on this site doesn’t match the underlying FEC filing, that’s a bug — file a correction.

The tracker indexes tracked corporate contributions to AIPAC and a defined list of AIPAC-affiliated PACs and 501(c)(4) entities. “Tracked” means: itemized in a public filing, attributable to a corporate entity or a named executive, and within our retention window (2014 to present).
We do not include J Street PAC (counter-aligned) or generic party committees (DCCC/NRCC) where the AIPAC routing cannot be established.
A donation is attributed to a corporate entity when:
Individual donations under $200 are excluded from per-row display (the FEC does not require itemization below this threshold). Aggregate cycle figures include all itemized rows. Display rounding is to the nearest dollar; underlying records preserve cents.
Every company and named executive has a published right of reply. Submit a written response and we publish it inline with the relevant figures, with a clear timestamp and our acknowledgement. Replies are not edited for content.
When we get something wrong, we say so. Corrections are logged with the original figure, the corrected figure, the date, and a link to the underlying filing that motivated the change. The corrections log is public.
New filings are ingested within 24 hours of FEC publication. The site footer carries a live refresh timestamp. Cycle aggregates and treemap figures recompute on every ingest.
The methodology is versioned. v0.1 is the initial public release. Every material change ships with a CHANGELOG entry, a date, and the rationale.
