The rules for using this site. Read before you use it. Membership-specific terms live on boycat.io/terms-of-service.
Purrsuit is operated by Boycat Inc., a Delaware-incorporated corporation (“we”, “our”). By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please close the tab.
Figures on this site are aggregated from public-filing data (FEC, IRS, state PAC registries) and attributed per the rules in our methodology. Per-line citation receipts are not currently surfaced on every donation row; see the methodology page for the upstream sources we draw on. We publish in good faith and log corrections when we get something wrong.
Any company or individual named on this site has a right of reply. Submit a written response via /contact and we will include it in the methodology changelog alongside the relevant figures. Replies aren't edited for content. See the methodology page.
The site is provided as-is. We work to keep figures accurate and current; we publish corrections when we get something wrong. We don't warrant fitness for any particular legal, financial, or strategic decision. Verify against the underlying filing before you act on it.
Figures published on this site are derived from public filings and may contain processing errors, attribution errors, or delays in reflecting updates to the underlying record. Boycat Inc. makes no representation as to the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any figure displayed. Users should verify all figures against the underlying filing before relying on them for any purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of your use of this site is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim - for most visitors, that's $0. Membership-specific liability is governed by boycat.io/terms-of-service.
Nothing in these terms limits our right to contest any claim of injunctive or equitable relief. We will vigorously defend our right to publish public-record figures in the public interest. Any application for injunctive relief must be preceded by written notice to legal@boycat.io and a 14-day cure period during which we will conduct an internal review and publish our response.
We don't take down public-record figures on request. We do correct errors promptly when they're demonstrated. Defamation claims should be submitted by counsel to legal@boycat.io with the specific figure, the underlying filing, and the basis for the claim.
Upon receipt of a defamation claim meeting the submission requirements above, we will conduct an internal review of the specific figure against the underlying primary source filing. We will respond within 14 days with either a correction (the corrected figure and the filing that motivated the change) or a written statement of our basis for maintaining the published figure. Accepted corrections are summarised in the methodology page’s changelog when issued; a dedicated public corrections log is on the roadmap.
Public filings from the FEC, IRS, and SEC are government records and are not subject to copyright. If you are a copyright owner and you believe material on this site infringes your copyright (for example, a brand logo or a quoted passage), you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512(c).
A valid notice must include all of the following:
Until the designated agent registration is on file with the U.S. Copyright Office, send notices to legal@boycat.io with the subject prefix [DMCA]. We respond within 10 business days and remove or disable access to the specific material if the notice is valid. Material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice can give rise to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
If material of yours is removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice meeting the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). We will restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the original claimant files a court action seeking to restrain the activity.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Delaware.
Material changes are versioned and dated. Continued use of the site after a material change constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Read the changelog before you click.
